Waste companies handle huge volumes, from household refuse to industrial residues. Much of it is separated, incinerated or treated thermally, and conveyor belts link every step. They have to be strong, long-lasting and resistant to extreme conditions: sharp materials, heavy loads and changing weather. Tribelt, a metal conveyor belt manufacturer in Haaksbergen, the Netherlands, builds belts for these plants.

## Processes Tribelt supports

- **Collection and feed:** it starts with delivering waste to the site. Tribelt belts carry residual waste, construction and demolition waste and recyclable streams. Sturdy construction, wear-resistant material and adapted widths let the system suit the size, weight and nature of the waste. Length, incline and speed are set together with the customer.
- **Sorting and separation:** belts can carry flights, side plates and other options to pre-separate streams, or work alongside magnets, air jets and optical sorters. Belt height, profile and support are adjusted so the sorting equipment performs well and blockages and wear stay low.
- **Transfer to processing:** sorted material goes on to shredders, balers or incinerators. High load capacity, heat-resistant versions and special coatings keep transport going with sharp, hot or corrosive material. A modular, easy-to-service design raises uptime.
- **Discharge and storage:** belts deliver processed material exactly where it is needed and can be fitted with sensors and controls. Height, speed and construction follow the site's logistics and safety rules.
