## A wider family of metal conveyor belts

Not every process fits an eyelink or spiral belt. Tribelt, the metal conveyor belt manufacturer from Haaksbergen in the Netherlands, therefore makes a second range of specialised belts, numbered by type. They cover light, hygienic food handling as well as heavy, hot and precision work: flexible corrugated mesh that lets air and water through, sturdy bar and chain belts for heavy logistics and straight tunnels, curved and spiral-capable belts for complex routes, and light woven belts for food.

- **Type 600:** choice of mesh and width, left- or right-hand spirals, single or double spirals
- **Type 800:** different bar profiles, steel, stainless or plastic, wear-resistant coatings
- **Type 1000:** various chains and materials, custom width and coupling, flights and side plates
- **Type 1200:** special slats to hold products, segmented build for very wide machines, many mesh/pitch combinations
- **Type 1500:** different locking methods, strip heights, thicknesses, widths and materials
- **Type 1600:** edge finishing on one or both sides, adjustable pitch and wire, flights and side chains
- **Type 1700:** mesh, wire type and material, brazed or beaded edges, reinforcing wires

## How they are driven

- **Friction:** corrugated mesh, light grille and woven belts over large drive rollers
- **Sprocket or chain drive:** chain belts, straight strip belts, curved belts and grille belts that need exact positioning
- **Positive or special drums:** plate link belts (Type 1200), with herringbone support where extra stability is needed
- **Combinations:** for spiral towers and curved tracks, from cryogenic to high-temperature processes
